About Me

Self-taught software developer working in the field since 2023. Although my experience is mostly focused on front-end development, I also enjoy developing at the back-end. What I like most about my job is providing solutions, solving problems, and making improvements. I also enjoy being in a constant learning process.

I have been using GNU/Linux as my only operating system since 2015, which led me to pursue a career in Software Development. Currently, I use the Fedora distribution.

My goal

When I have the appropiate seniority and experience, I would like to become a technical lead or software architect. I know I still have a lot to learn, but I like to direct my career towards that goal.

Meanwhile, I develop CarreraIT, a web platform to help other people in the field through free resources, orientation guides and articles that I write, and surveys with feedback.

I like...

  • Working with my two cats (one of the biggest advantages that working remotely gives me).
  • The feeling of satisfaction after solving a problem or making an improvement in the code.
  • The book The Pragmatic Programmer, by Andy Hunt and Dave Thomas. It taught me a lot of things that I apply every day.
  • Keeping my code well structured and organized. These are two fundamental aspects for me when developing.
